Jharixa and Seth Pugh are the owners of Huanchaco Lounge, a fun new twist on your every day beer and wine bar located on the beach road in Kill Devil Hills.

 

With over a decade of experience, Jharixa’s journey as a mixologist began working as a bartender in fast paced bars and night clubs in Miami, Florida. She then traveled to other parts of the country working in and managing different types of restaurants and bars, perfecting her craft along the way. After returning home to the Outer Banks, Jharixa worked alongside some of the most experienced bartenders on the island. Being someone who is deeply rooted in their cultural heritage, Jharixa is excited to bring traditional Peruvian flavors to the Outer Banks.

 

Seth spent the early part of his career traveling around the country touring breweries in several states along the way. Seth developed a real passion for craft beer through these years, furthering his knowledge on the industry and inspiring him to learn more. Seth also has a background in construction and trim carpentry so keep an eye out for some of his handiwork throughout the space.

 

Having grown up on the Outer Banks, Jharixa and Seth strive to support other local businesses through features and collaborations.
